The Ceremony
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the beautiful Pieve di San Giovanni e Santa Felicita in Pietrasanta (Lucca, Tuscany).
Please note that the traditional catholic ceremony will last about an hour and, unfortunately, will be entirely in Italian. Whilst it will be a very emotional moment for us, you can of course join us at the end of the ceremony around 4.45pm (we have a little surprise coming!) or directly at the Villa. We won't be offended, we promise! We will then all be celebrating together at Villa Bernardini in Lucca.
The church, dating back to the 11th century, is near the Via Francigena and part of the Romanesque heritage of Versilia.
Villa Bernardini is about a 25-minute drive from the church and just 5 minutes from the Lucca Est highway exit.

The Wedding Reception
The venue for the reception is Villa Bernardini, located in Via del Cimitero di Vicopelago, Lucca (Tuscany).
The villa is located about 25 minutes from the church and is easily accessible from the highway, just 5 minutes from the Lucca Est exit. For accommodation near the venue, we recommend Villa Cheli or Villa La Principessa, which are both just a 4-minute drive from the Villa. Lucca's city center is also only 4 km away. The party will go on until 2:30AM and (obviously) there will be an open bar. Lucca is famous for its intact Renaissance walls and historic charm, and it's a great base for visiting Pisa or Florence. If you're planning a seaside weekend, consider Versilia - from Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi – the perfect spots for late summer sun.
